So what’s going to happen to Winternals and Sysinternals? Microsoft is still evaluating the best way to leverage the many different technologies that have been developed by Winternals. Some will find their ways into existing Microsoft products or Windows itself and others will continue on as Microsoft-branded products. As for Sysinternals, the site will remain for the time being while Microsoft determines the best way to integrate it into its own community efforts, and the tools will continue to be free to download.
No podle tohoto se zda, ze se to sysinternals dotkne jen tak, ze budou zaintegrovany do webu Microsoftu a hlavne se zda, ze Microsoft opravdu integruje nektere veci Winternals primo do Windows serveru nebo jinych nastroju (MOM, ...).
Doufam, ze scenar bude nasledujici:
a) veci od sysinternals budou zahrnuty do Support Tools
b) veci od winternals budou prodavany Microsoftem jako power-admin nastroje. Bylo by hezke, kdyby Adminpak uvolnili zdarma pro majitele VolumeLicenci na Windows, ale to se asi nestane...
Je take mozne, ze se dockame integrace nekterych veci od Winternals do Windows Longhorn serveru (ma uz vlastne jmeno, nebo u serveru jeste stale plati codename Longhorn). Osobne bych uvital "Protection Manager" ;)
Zprava neni uplne presna, zminene utility jsou pod freeware odnozi Sysinternals. Winternals dela enterprise verze produktu (regmon) a nebo napr. ERD Commander (Adminpak). Doufam, ze se s Sysint nic nestane ....
