Christophe Chastan was appointed new General Manager

[Tisková zpráva] Prague – June 19th, 2007 — CZECH DATA SYSTEMS, Apple IMC Czech Republic announced the appointment of Christophe Chastan (44) as new Regional General Manager, responsible for Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Romania. In this new role, Christophe will be responsible for leading the country Apple teams, driving Apple revenues across the region, and evangelizing the merits of Apple products all to grow Apple’s market share in the respective countries.

Christophe has more than 15 years considerable sales business experience in Europe, Latin America, APAC, and Eastern Europe. His career based in the High Tech industry throughout the world focuses on the development and delivery of solutions to national and international businesses.

Christophe have been living in various countries in Europe, Latin America and South east Asia. He is moving from Moscow where he was previously General Manager of the representative office of Dell for Russia and CIS. Under his leadership Dell operations grew 10 fold in two years.

Christophe is married and has French citizenship. Among his biggest hobbies is gaining the market shares.

Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning desktop and notebook computers, OS X operating system, and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also spearheading the digital music revolution with its iPod portable music players and iTunes online store.

CZECH DATA SYSTEMS has been representing Apple in the Czech market since 1996. The company is a member of the multinational MDS Group (www.mdholdin­gs.com) representing Apple in many other countries.
