TISCALI AND EBU IN WORLWIDE ONLINE PARTNERSHIP FOR EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2004
Tiscali will broadcast Europe's biggest television entertainment event live and completely free on its portals and on www.eurovision.tv.
Cagliari, May 12th 2004. Tiscali, the European Internet Communication Company that has always been an active supporter of the union in diversity is now supporting the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, the famous music event that has represented various different European cultures since 1956.

Following an agreement with the EBU, European Broadcasting Union, the largest professional association of national broadcasters in the world, Tiscali will transmit online the webcast of the semi-final and final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, live from Istanbul on May 12th and 15th at 9.00 p.m. Numerous artists representing a total of 36 countries will be appearing on stage at the Abdi Ipekci stadium, as well as some of the biggest names in international music, including, ABBA, Céline Dion, Julio Iglesias, Cliff Richard, Udo Jürgens and Olivia Newton-John. ABBA fans can also view a previously unreleased video of the famous Swedish group, which will be premiered online by Tiscali.
