Tak se ukazuje, že jsem měl pravdu:
In a Single Frequency Network, the transmitters and receivers are usually synchronized with the others, using GPS or a signal from the main station or network as a reference clock. For example, the DVB forum specifies (TS 101 191) the use of a special marker, the Mega-frame Initialization Packet (MIP) that is inserted in the bit stream at a central distribution point, and signals the SFN transmitters the absolute time (as read from a GPS receiver) at which this point in the data stream is to be broadcast. In COFDM, the beginning of each symbol is preceded by a guard interval. As long as the echoes fall within this interval, they will not affect the receiver's ability to safely decode the actual data, as data is only interpreted outside the guard interval.Další informace: popis DVB-T přijímače, vícecestné šíření a OFDM, SFN
