Dear Jeanne, thank you for your great tips and correction with explanation! You have all my apologies for this mistake.
I guess it was not only me who was grateful for the excellent preparation of selected speakers. Luckily we did not fall asleep durig conference :)
I hope next time you are going to help speakers again,

Thank you for the mention, but I need to make one correction. I did NOT say 'don't thank the audience'. I said that your last slide should not be 'Dekuji za pozornost' because it's meaningless (What if the audience wasn't paying attention? Sadly, that's often the case).
Instead, a presenter should dedicate their final slide to sharing their contact details and then they should SAY 'I really enjoyed talking with you and I'm looking forward to continuing the discussion at the break. Enjoy the conference!', for example.
